Operating in both the UK and Egypt, the company offered paid courses in high-demand fields such as Product Management and Digital Marketing. Their mission was to guide individuals from novice to hireable professional status within flexible timeframes.

How We Crossed Paths...

In early 2021, Knowledge Officer launched an outreach program in Egypt, offering free access to their Product Management course material. This initiative aimed to support young professionals looking to transition into Product Management roles. I was fortunate to be selected for this program.

Case Studies

Facebook Messenger Screensharing 

As part of the Knowledge Officer Product Management Fellowship, we were presented with a hypothetical scenario where we assumed the role of Product Managers at Facebook. Our task was to develop and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for a new screen sharing feature in Facebook Messenger.

The main goals of the case study were to:

  • Identify and outline the primary success metrics for the screen sharing feature

  • Design dashboards to effectively track and report on these metrics

Increasing Snapchat Engagement for Ages 25-35

As part of this product management exercise, we were tasked with developing a strategy to address low engagement rates on Snapchat for users aged 25-35. This hypothetical scenario places us in the role of Product Managers at Snapchat.

The main goals of the case study were to:

  • Develop a vision for increasing engagement in the 25-35 age group

  • Create a comprehensive strategy to achieve this vision

  • Propose a list of features that align with the strategy and vision

Business Plan for JetMe

As part of a product management exercise, we were tasked with developing a comprehensive business plan for JetMe, a private jet chartering company. JetMe aims to introduce a platform that aggregates information on available jets from various operators, allowing private travelers to compare options and select the most suitable choice.

The main goals of this case study were to create a business plan that includes:

  • Market insights and analysis

  • Target audience identification

  • Marketing and user acquisition strategy

Market Research Report for Tata Motors' MENA Expansion

As part of a product management exercise, we were tasked with creating a comprehensive market research report for Tata Motors. The company is exploring expansion opportunities in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, with a specific focus on two potential markets: Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

The main goals of this case study were to:

  • Analyze the viability of the Egyptian and Saudi Arabian automotive markets

  • Provide data-driven recommendations for Tata Motors' expansion strategy
